RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
At Frontier Missions Network, we believe in serving both the spiritual and physical needs of communities. Our Relief and Development Projects are designed to address pressing social challenges in rural and underserved areas, particularly in Northern Ghana. These initiatives focus on improving access to clean water, healthcare, sanitation, clothing, and food security, while presenting the gospel through practical acts of love and kindness.

1. WATER MISSIONS
In Northern Ghana, many communities face significant water challenges, with 80% of rural households lacking access to safe water and sanitation. Open defecation, waterborne diseases, and time spent fetching water disproportionately affect the health and productivity of these communities, particularly women.
This project supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
-
45 water projects completed since 2018:
-
35 newly constructed projects
-
2 wells completed
-
8 repaired wells
-
-
104,428+ beneficiaries now have access to clean water.

2. HYGIENE EDUCATION (CLEAN HANDS CLEAN HEART)
Addressing the link between poor sanitation and health, this project provides hygiene education while using its platform to present the gospel.

-
Conducted 57 hygiene education programmes since February 2020.
-
Reached 9,389 people across 53 towns and villages in 5 regions (Savannah, Upper West, North-East, Bono, and Greater Accra).
These training programs are part of our evangelistic efforts, educating communities on essential hygiene practices to prevent diseases and improve overall well-being.

3. MEDICAL MISSIONS
Our medical missions aim to provide free quality healthcare services in underserved areas where access to medical facilities and professionals is limited.
-
3 major medical missions conducted.
-
1,334 beneficiaries across 51 towns and villages.
-
78 successful surgeries addressing 11 different medical conditions.
This initiative integrates spiritual and social dimensions, delivering holistic care to those in need.

4. CLOTHE THE NAKED PROJECT
This project brings dignity and comfort to rural communities by providing clothing to new converts, widows, the aged, and other vulnerable groups.

-
1,450 bales of second-hand clothes distributed.
-
336 new pieces of clothing provided to widows and the elderly.
By meeting this often-overlooked need, we express God’s love in practical ways.

5. FEED THE HUNGRY

Famine in Northern Ghana, caused by erratic rainfall, leaves widows, orphans, and other vulnerable groups without sufficient food. Frontier Missions Network provides emergency relief to mitigate the devastating impact of food insecurity.
-
1,632 beneficiaries served, including widows, orphans, the aged, bedridden patients, and orphanages.
-
Distributed food items include maize, rice, sugar, and salt.
This program aims to combat malnutrition and prevent avoidable deaths in the most affected areas.
