The Orality Training 2024, organized by the Institute of Leadership and Missions (IOLAM), successfully took place from Tuesday, July 30th to Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at the Christ Kingdom Church Premises, TOASA, in Upper West. This event marked another milestone in our journey to equip leaders, ministers, and missionaries with essential skills for effective evangelism and discipleship through storytelling and oral communication.

Apostle Dr. Moses Sansa Konjon, the President of IOLAM and Executive Director of FMN, led the sessions, bringing both passion and deep insight into the power of orality in ministry. His engaging presentations highlighted how oral strategies can be leveraged in today's world to reach communities that are largely oral-based, an approach that is increasingly relevant in regions with limited access to formal literacy tools.

Key Highlights of the Event

  • Engaging Sessions: Participants experienced hands-on learning through interactive workshops, practical storytelling exercises, and discussions on how to deliver messages effectively in both formal and informal settings.

  • Storytelling for Discipleship: One key takeaway from the training was the importance of using biblical narratives to communicate timeless truths. By focusing on storytelling, attendees were better equipped to simplify complex theological ideas into relatable and memorable stories.

  • Transformational Impact: The training emphasized the role of storytelling not just in evangelism but also in fostering deeper discipleship relationships. Testimonies from the participants highlighted how the tools they learned will enhance their ability to build lasting connections within their communities.

Gratitude to Our Partners and Sponsors

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners and sponsors, whose generosity made this training possible. Your support has not only impacted the participants but will ripple out as they carry what they've learned into their various fields of ministry and missions. This initiative would not have been as impactful without your financial and moral backing.

Alumni Involvement

A special mention goes to the alumni of IOLAM who attended the training and contributed their expertise, helping mentor the new attendees. Their involvement continues to be a cornerstone of our mission, ensuring that each new generation of leaders is equipped with practical skills and knowledge for the Kingdom's work.

Looking Ahead

The feedback from this year's participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are already looking forward to Orality Training 2025! We invite you to stay connected with us and continue supporting IOLAM as we work to empower more leaders for evangelism and discipleship.
